Cnet Cover Stories

As a contract visual designer for CNET, I collaborated with the editorial team to create visual directions for longform feature stories focused on consumer technology, media history, and digital culture.

My role centered on translating complex technology topics into visually engaging editorial experiences through hero imagery, compositional systems, and narrative-driven graphic design. The work balanced CNET’s clean technology-focused aesthetic with more cinematic and emotionally driven storytelling approaches for feature content.

📎️ Sizing Up Your Next TV: Where Bigger Screens Are Taking Us

For this feature on the evolution of large-screen televisions, I created a cinematic visual direction emphasizing scale, immersion, and the relationship between viewers and modern home entertainment. The design combined layered compositions, atmospheric lighting, and editorial collage techniques to create a future-facing digital reading experience.

📎️ CES History: The Consumer Electronics That Changed Everyday Life

For this historical feature on CES and consumer technology culture, I developed a retro-futuristic visual system inspired by archival media, layered timelines, and nostalgic electronics aesthetics. The goal was to balance historical storytelling with a contemporary editorial presentation for digital audiences.
